DCMS Whitepaper: Share your ideas for a new cultural programme

16th November 2015

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport will be launching proposals for a new, far-reaching cultural strategy, the first in 50 years, reflecting the world today. They have launched a dedicated discussion platform for you to share and discuss your ideas ahead of the Government’s White Paper. Throughout November DCMS are inviting ideas on ‘Communities and how they connect and engage with culture’, the third in a series of four online discussions to guide the Government’s White Paper on culture. The website invites visitors to post an idea for others to see, rate, share and comment on, seeking “innovative proposals that spark lively debates and conversations”. Discussions on both the site and the accompanying Twitter hashtag – #ourculture – are to be monitored to inform the White Paper.
