Small Grants Scheme funded works get underway at Tron Theatre Glasgow

Glasgow’s Tron Theatre received £5,000 in May 2016, towards its water damage repair project, to address water ingress affecting the backstage corridor and the office block – repair works are currently underway.

The UK Small Grants Scheme runs twice a year awarding small capital grants to theatres to improve their building. The next Round closes 5pm 31 October 2016.

Theatres Trust grants deadlines extended to 31 October

Our Spend a Penny grant scheme, to target the under-provision of ladies toilets, and our UK Small Grants Scheme, to help theatres address urgent works, will now both close to applications to Monday 31 October at 5pm.

Find out more about the two schemes below, and if you would like to discuss an application then please email info@theatrestrust.org.uk.

The outcome will be decided in December 2016 after evaluations have taken place, and announced in January 2017. If you know of a theatre that might benefit from support, please do spread the word.

Our grants makes a real contribution to the maintenance of theatres, so they remain safe and secure for audiences to enjoy.
