Horsham's Capitol Theatre accepted as asset of community value

Horsham’s Capitol Theatre has been accepted as an asset of community value after a nomination by the Horsham Society. The organisation also had its bid to nominate Horsham Museum, in the Causeway, accepted by Horsham District Council this week. Under the Localism Act any building nominated as an asset of community value gives groups the opportunity to bid for the property if the landowner decides to dispose of it.
