Theatre Royal Stratford East announces a major new arts venue and asset for Newham in Stratford’s Cultural Quarter. The Red Crate, a sister building to the National Theatre’s temporary theatre, is planned to open in 2015. The Red Crate, a striking 220-seat eco-theatre building, will be situated in Stratford’s Cultural Quarter. Theatre Royal Stratford East launched their £4.5m capital funding campaign on 23 September.

Theatres Trust announces TheatreStage Line-Up for PLASA2014

The Theatres Trust announces the full programme of events on its TheatreStage at PLASA London from 5 – 8 October at ExCel London. A total of twenty-one presentations will be held on the TheatreStage – running over all four days of the PLASA London show.

TheatreStage provides a focus on the show floor for visitors and the theatre industry to network and learn about projects, initiatives, campaigns and organisations connected to the theatre sector.
