23rd February 2016

The eight-week consultation seeking views on all aspects of the proposed Southborough Hub and which of the two options should be considered for final delivery closed on 24 January and had a total of 369 responses. Option 1 (new build) was preferred by 58% of respondents while 27% preferred Option 2 (part retain). If looking at only the responses of residents of Southborough and High Brooms specifically, support for the new build was as high as 63%.
