    Planning permission for a container sited to the rear of the theatre for the storage of props and sets was supported.

  • Repair works at Blackpool Grand

    Listed building consent for repairs and repointing at Blackpool Grand was supported.

    Plans for a new side entrance into a lift providing access to a new small performance/rehearsal space within what was the theatre's first floor storage area was supported.

    Planning permission for partial demolition and extension of The Yard in London's Olympic Legacy area was supported. It will provide a larger theatre area with new back of house provision, upper-level accessibility, larger bar and an additional studio.

  • Hotel development adjacent to Liverpool Playhouse

    No objection was raised to the principle of conversion of a building adjacent to the Playhouse for a hotel, but a condition requiring submission of a construction management plan was urged to avoid works impacting performances.

  • Proposed arts centre for Winchcombe

    Change of use of a former methodist church in Winchcombe to a community arts centre for the Winchcombe Arts and Community Hub was supported.

  • Revisions to development next to Fairfield Halls

    Amendments to a permitted scheme adjacent to Croydon's Fairfield Halls generated no additional comments.

  • Alterations to Royal Boxes at Leeds Grand

    Listed building consent for alterations within the boxes at Leeds Grand to comply with current health and safety standards, and for replacement lighting bars, was supported.

  • New delay bars at Leeds Grand

    The installation of new delay bars to meet modern technical standards was supported, but with the condition that additional information was submitted to demonstrate the most significant decorative features would not be harmed.

  • New surround sound system at Leeds Grand

    Listed building consent for the installation of new wall-mounted brackets to support a surround-sound system was supported.

  • Replacement lighting bars at Leeds Grand

    The principle of replacement lighting bars within the auditorium at Leeds Grand was supported, but insufficient information had been provided to explain the alterations and any impact on significance this may have.

  • Replacement signage at West End's Criterion Theatre

    Advertisement consent for replacement signage associated with a forthcoming production at the Criterion was supported.
