The building is adjacent to Wyndham’s Theatre. The Theatres Trust supported the application.

Developers to demolish RAF Brampton Theatre

Huntingdonshire District Council consulted The Theatres Trust on the above planning application for the redevelopment of the former RAF base at Brampton, including the demolition of the theatre and construction of a multi-purpose community hall.

The Theatres Trust objects to the application because it includes the complete loss of a valued facility which has been in use as a fully equipped theatre by the local community without a proper replacement or any reasoned justification for its loss to the local community.

DCLG publishes Section 106 report for 2011-12
