The Trust supported the installation of high-level signage and illuminated posters. The theatre has been undergoing a redevelopment project.

Retrospective extension for Suffolk's Aspal Theatre
The Trust raised no objection to retrospective planning permission for an extension compared to permitted plans containing WC facilities for the new Aspal Theatre at Stonham Barns, a popular leisure and tourist destination in mid-Suffolk.

The Trust supported a proposal to amalgamate a ground floor cafe into the theatre, providing increased street frontage and additional access into the theatre above.

Trust objects to tower proposal opposite Old Vic
The Trust has objected to plans for a nine-storey residential building adjacent to the Old Vic which we consider will negatively impact on its setting. Two previous eight-storey proposals have been refused partly on those grounds.

Trust objects to demolition of Stafford's Sandonia
The Trust has strongly objected to the complete loss of Stafford's historic Sandonia. Illegal demolition of the building earlier this year including its handsome arched frontage was stopped by legal action from SAVE and the Council.
