The Trust supported the removal and replacement of the theatre's copper dome roof due to damage and corrosion. In the early years this will give it a different appearance until over time it naturally patinates.

The Trust supported replacement gates to the theatre's get-in passage, which are of enhanced appearance to those they are replacing and will reflect the theatre's overall decorative scheme.

Revised lighting at Gorleston Pavilion
The Trust supported a proposal for enhanced external lighting at the theatre in Gorleston, Great Yarmouth as it would better reveal the building's significance.

Roof repairs and PV panels for York's Joseph Rowntree Theatre
The Trust supported roof repairs and installation of solar PV panels. Although some harm would be caused to the building's historic character, we considered this was mitigated by their positioning and the public benefits of enhanced sustainability.

Internal and external alterations at Rugby Theatre
The Trust supported proposals by Rugby Theatre to create access between their two neighbouring buildings which allow for internal alterations, in particular an expanded bar and increase in WCs.

Alterations at Kirkcaldy's Adam Smith Theatre
The Trust welcomed alterations within the building to enhance the Adam Smith's wider community role and function, but raised objection to formal change of use from theatre to community hub as it could undermine future protection of the theatre element.

New theatre proposed in Biggleswade's former Pizza Express
The Trust supported listed building consent for alterations within a former restaurant in Biggleswade which will enable its conversion to a 100-seat theatre. The Bigg Theatre proposes a range of productions, comedy, live music and cinema screenings.
