The dominant feature of the façade, the corner tower, has a multi-level dome supported by pairs of columns; below, the canopy and the large advertising signage boards on the frontage are also visible. The production advertised is Party Manners by Val Gielgud starring Jill Esmond, Lovell Hordern, George Merritt and Raymond Michael. From 1963 the building was known as the Shaftesbury Theatre.
