Taken from the upper circle, it shows the stage and proscenium, with pairs of bow-fronted boxes visible to the right at both balcony levels. Divided by squat columns, the dress circle boxes have been knocked through providing an area for slips. The proscenium is rectangular with a moulded frame richly decorated with foliated plasterwork.
