  Black and white photograph showing the façade of the Astor Theatre within a streetscape of Stanhope Street in Deal. Taken from the road, it shows a two-storey façade towards the centre of the photograph with a plain sidewall visible to the right. The façade is in three bays, the centre bay narrower and containing a first floor balcony with a curved gable above. A triangular canopy extends out from the balcony railings to cover the main entrance below, and a sign bearing the name of the theatre and a coat-of-arms hangs from a pole above the first floor windows.
