  Colour photograph showing the façade and side elevation of the Royal Hippodrome Theatre within a streetscape of Seaside Road in Eastbourne. Taken from across Seaside Road, it shows a symmetrical stuccoed façade towards the centre with shops flanking the entrance and eleven bays of rectangular windows at first floor level, subdivided by small Corinthian pilasters. There is also a seven-bay upper storey with Tuscan pilasters and a shallow hipped roof above the cornice. A canopy extends across the width of the building.
