  • Description
Colour photograph showing the façade and sidewall of Sadler’s Wells Theatre, within a streetscape of Rosebery Avenue in London. It is a two-storey building with three windows on the first floor above a canopy bearing the theatre’s name. Advertising signage is visible at street-level, and there is also a larger sign in between the façade and sidewall displaying details about a forthcoming opera season at Sadler’s, and about a singer called Helene Delavault performing at the Lilian Baylis Theatre (a studio theatre that shares the building). This building was demolished in 1996-7.
