  • Description
Photograph of a black and white postcard showing the façade and sidewall of Ealing Hippodrome within a streetscape of Ealing Broadway in London. The three-storey structure, with its small tower sitting on the front right hand corner and central elaborate gable, dominates the right hand side of the postcard. The name HIPPODROME is visible in tablature above the main entrance, next door to the ‘Cinematograph Theatre’, a cinema that shared the use of the building, along with a billiard hall for which advertising signage can be seen on the façade and high up on the sidewall.
