  Photograph of a black and white postcard showing a streetscape of the Aldwych in London. Taken from the west end of the street, it shows the Aldwych Theatre next door to the yet-to-be-built Waldorf Hotel. A large billboard on the exposed side of the theatre advertises a production of 'The Beauty of Bath' starring Ellaline Terriss and Seymour Hicks. The Waldorf Theatre (later the Strand, and then the Whitney), with its name written in lights across a curved facade, is visible at the far left of the postcard.
