Colour photograph showing part of the façade and a sidewall of Robins Cinema, and the rear wall of The Ustinov Studio, in Bath. Converted from St. Paul’s Church Hall, the cinema (and adjoining Theatre Royal) is a neo-classical building in ashlar in three storeys with a five-bay facade. The last bay on the right is partly out of shot. On the near corner there remains an engraved plaque above a doorway reading ST. PAULS PARISH HALL. The sidewall incorporates tall windows rising to an ornamented gable. The Ustinov Studio, added at the rear in 1997, occupies a plain block beyond the cinema on the left of the photograph, with three doorways, the get-in and a headless winged figure attached to building at first floor level, all visible.
