  Black and white photograph showing the exterior of the Alexandra Theatre within a streetscape of Station Street and John Bright Street in Birmingham. Taken from the roof of a building on the opposite corner, it shows The Victory, a public house, occupying the curved corner that formed the main entrance to the theatre before it was moved to another side of the block. Some irregular blocks with various doorways leading to the theatre (including the stage door) are situated along the road to the right of the corner. A bridge penetrates the block to the left of the corner at first floor level. The brick fly tower is visible over the curved corner.
