- DescriptionCopy of a black and white postcard (on card) showing the façade of The Duke of York's Theatre on St. Martin’s Lane in London. It is a four-storey, symmetrical façade with the lower half in stone, encompassing a canopy over the main entrance and a first floor loggia, and the upper half in brickwork and crowned by balustrades. A sign reading DUKE OF YORK'S THEATRE sits in between two lamps on the outward edge of the canopy. More advertising signage can be seen at street-level in between various entrances. Two steps lead up to an iron gateway in the bottom left hand corner of the postcard where a sign is visible, possibly reading 'Green Room'.
