  • Description
Colour photograph showing the façade of the Pavilion Theatre in Brighton. Taken from across New Road, it shows a plain brick façade with slightly advanced corner towers either side of a central bay. A rendered feature containing five small arched windows forms the centrepiece of the façade, with smaller windows either side on each tower. The name of the theatre appears on an oval sign below the windows, and again vertically on signs attached to the sides of the towers. The entrance is a small doorway at the base of the tower on the left hand side. Another doorway to its right is the entrance to a bar. Posters at street-level advertise forthcoming attractions to other Brighton venues (‘Boyzone’, ‘The Alexei Sayle Show’ and ‘Squeeze’).
