Colour-tinted (Christmas) postcard showing the façade and part of the side wall of The Empire on Shepherd’s Bush Green in Shepherd's Bush, London. The theatre's dominant feature from this angle is a large cylindrical corner tower that starts at the pavement and stretches past the rest of the building to a cupola and spire bearing the name EMPIRE. A canopy covers the four-bay arched entrance, above which the name EMPIRE appears protruding slightly from the wall. Advertising signage is visible at street-level.
