Columns line a balcony in the centre of the façade forming a first floor portico. A striped canopy covers the main entrance and various advertising signage can be seen at street-level. The theatre then stretches off to the right hand side of the postcard, most of which is masked by a tree. The words GARRICK THEATRE 1889 can, however, be seen in terracotta on the near side towards the top of the building. A poster advertising THE MERCHANT… is visible at street-level.
