The simple red brick frontage is in three bays; the windows are semicircular at first floor level and rectangular above, their frames painted red, a decorative detail reprised in the theatre name-sign and red railings at ground level. Advertising signage boards for the current production and for the Unicorn Theatre, a dedicated children's theatre at the same location, can also be seen. The production advertised is Krapp's Last Tape by Samuel Beckett starring Edward Petherbridge.
