  Colour photograph showing the façade of the Borough Theatre. The photograph is taken from opposite the main entrance. The façade is of red brick dressed with stone. It is difficult to give a succinct description of the irregular frontage: the windows of the central bays have rectangular architraves surmounted by oeil-de-boeuf apertures; semicircular architraves decorate the flanking bays; a balustrade and pediment overlook the central and right bays. An annotation on the reverse of the photograph states that the façade has been restored.
