  Black and white magazine sketch showing the façade of part of the Royal College of Music, which incorporates the Britten Opera Theatre. The sketch is taken from opposite the main entrance. The Opera House was built in the west courtyard of the Royal College of Music behind the frontage of an 1892 building by Sir Arthur Blomfield - and it is this frontage which is depicted in the sketch. The red brick façade has a central clock tower and corner towers with candle-snuffer roofed turrets.
