  Colour photograph showing the exterior of the Comedy Theatre within a streetscape. The photograph is taken from opposite the corner so that both the façade and the side elevation can be seen. Between the lower flanking bays of the façade, the three bay centre has Corinthian pilasters rising to a pediment and carries advertising signage boards; the short canopy below has simple wrought iron decoration. The side elevation is white with gold detailing, and carries a vertical advertising sign where it meets the façade. The production advertised is A Passionate Woman by Kay Mellor.
