Details

The only reference to this theatre is an original broadsheet in Hanley Library, advertising the opening (or reopening) in 1835. Gas was introduced, which might be an indication that it was reopened. The act-drop subject was Burslem Market Place. New scenery was painted by R Kerry & W Kerry (of Manchester Queen's). The machinery was by Keen.
