Metropole (Abertillery)

Details

Built in 1892 as the Metropole Theatre & Dance Hall, the building closed in 1953 and fell into disrepair. As part of the regeneration of Abertillery town centre, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council have refurbished the building, creating a new cultural and conference centre for the town. The Met now provides a wide programme of events for the local community.
