Details

Originally a barn converted to a theatre, large, high ceilinged foyer with wooden beams, staircase and gallery. Small auditorium. Stage area larger than auditorium 6.4m (21ft) by 2.4m (8ft). Upper level rehearsal room, property room, wardrobe and flat. Approached under an archway in Castle Street leading to its own courtyard, the building is much in keeping with the surrounding old buildings of the town. It was sold when the Redgrave Theatre was built and was then converted to a restaurant.
