Details

Built as a cinéariety with a good sized stage but no flytower. Became exclusively cinema c.1944 and later bingo. Single balcony which was probably removed after a fire in 1977. Externally downright ugly. A brick shed with cement-rendered panels and slated roof. Tall, featureless entrance frontispiece. Scar on end wall shows former position of projection room. Having been vacant and derelict, it was demolished c.2001.
