Details

A large theatre with brick and terracotta façe now much altered and corner entrance rebuilt in 1936 with tower and clock. Originally ‘an elaborate interior’, and the most prestigious theatre in Oldham. The building was internally altered at the same time for a 1930s cinema. No further description found. Converted to a bowling alley and then a nightclub, the building is currently disused, and surely under threat of demolition.
