Details

Winston's Theatric Tourist refers to the Edmonton Theatre as a 'barn' recently erected. His illustration shows a small but possibly purpose-built theatre standing gable-end to the road. The view of the side wall shows it to have been timber framed with a stone or stucco front and classical porch. An upper window suggests that there would have been the usual gallery.
