Details

Built as a public hall, then became a roller skating rink in 1903. Modest but interesting brick and stucco flank wall to street. Had a small stage but no evidence so far discovered of regular theatrical or variety use and theatrical status must be considered doubtful. The building was converted for cinema in 1908, and closed in 1917 after being refused a licence. In 1919 it became a billiard hall, with the sliding roof replaced with glass. Later it converted to bingo. It is now a billiard and snooker hall, home to the Camden Snooker Club.
