Details

The Arts Guild in Greenock is the main theatre venue for the Inverclyde area. The 448 seat main auditorium has a proscenium arch stage with flying facilities. There is also a small studio space, as well as several small meeting and rehearsal rooms, and the bar. After 60 years of service, the building was no longer fit for purpose, and a new facility started construction in 2011. The new Beacon Arts Centre is expected to open in August 2012.
