Details

Converted from a temperance hall in 1961 by a troupe of puppeteers led by South African master John Wright. The building was transformed into a magical space designed specifically for children, and the presentation of marionette shows. In the intervening years the puppet theatre company has toured widely (in the UK and overseas), and still presents regular shows at their little venue in Islington.
