Details

The Gallery of Illustration was built by John Nash for his own occupation in 1824. When it became the Gallery of Illustration it housed panoramas and a diorama and was licensed for music in the 1850s. In the 1860s it became the home of the German Reed Entertainment and, again, held a music and dance license but it was never a music hall.
