Details

Opened in 1911 as a cine variety house. Films only from 1920. Became a car saleroom c1965. Only the three storey facade with 9.14m (30ft) of the two storey side walls remain. The existing single storey brick warehouse replaces the remainder of the building destroyed by fire. The whole complex is now called the Royal Indoor Market.
