Details

Stuccoed façe in free classical style. Wide central bay of two storeys with a large lunette window. Flanking pavilions of 2½ storeys, their parapets and urns now lacking. Auditorium had two balconies with single boxes either side of the proscenium. Restrained plasterwork. Capacity was 800. Major alterations occurred in 1931 when converted to Regal Cinema, and again for change to current use. Little now remains internally apart from a small pay-box for the pit entrance, the dress circle staircase and circle foyer.
