Details

Stucco façe, lined out as stonework; three storeys, the right hand section domestic in appearance, one window wide with shopfront on ground floor. Left hand bay is higher with carriage entrance and two storeys of loading doors above. Barn-shaped building at rear ( a fit-up?) now divided into three storeys. It is presently vacant and up for sale. As part of its recent history it has been a furniture warehouse and part of it an antique shop. The compiler was unable to gain admission but was told that there was ‘a balcony still inside’. Roger Kemble brought his company here in 1775.
