Colour photograph looking from the upper circle towards the stage and boxes to stage left. The ceiling panels are richly decorated. Above the proscenium and boxes is a large decorated tympanum. The proscenium is framed by coupled columns with garlanded shafts supporting an enriched entablature and an elaborately modelled, scrolled and panelled gable-like attic ornament. To each side of the stage two tiers of paired boxes can be seen.
