Façade of the Lyric Theatre, London

000109.jpg

Colour-tinted postcard showing the façade of the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in London. It is a four-storey building in brick and stone with weakly accented bays, and a balcony with two arched doorways at the top. There also appears to be a first floor, balustraded balcony above the iron canopy over the main entrance. ‘LYRIC THEATRE’ appears on the face of the canopy, and advertising signage can be seen at street-level. There is a tall arched doorway on the left hand side, beyond the canopy, marked ‘PIT’.
