  Black and white photograph showing the façade and sidewall of Altrincham Entertainment Centre, formerly the Hippodrome, in Altrincham. It is a brick exterior with darker brick and dark stone dressings in Italian style. The façade is in three bays, the central bay advanced with entrances and side exits, and the outer bays forming towers with small domes at the top. A large sign above the main entrance advertises MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL. The sidewall is visible on the right hand side of the photograph. The cinema was demolished in 1987, and the site redeveloped for offices. This photograph accompanies another taken from the left hand side of the building (#000214).
