Colour photograph showing the façade and a sidewall of The Rep in Birmingham. Taken from across Centenary Square, it shows two three-storey blocks with the main entrance occupying the front of the bow-shaped, concrete and glass structure on the left hand side, and a glass frontage (an extension made in 1992) containing banqueting and conference spaces on the nearside to the right. The legend THE REP can be seen across an attic set back from the block on the left hand side, and again on the side of the fly tower which bears a similar window design as found on the front of the block on the left, and which looms over both blocks in the background. Signs appearing across the glass frontage on the right advertise ‘Naked Justice’ starring Leslie Phillips, and Alan Bennett’s adaptation of ‘Wind in the Willows’.
