Colour photograph showing the auditorium of the Apollo Bingo Club, formerly the Palladium Theatre, in Blackpool. Taken from the stage looking towards the rear of the auditorium, it shows the stalls, a single balcony and bands of decorative fibrous plaster across a barrel-vaulted ceiling. The balcony front is simply decorated with rectangular panels broken by lion masks, and is gently curved with slightly serpentine-shaped ends. Horizontal panels containing griffins appear along the sidewalls in lieu of balcony slips.
