  Colour photograph showing a side elevation of a nightclub (‘Sheiks’), formerly the Pier Theatre, in Bognor Regis. Taken from the beach to the east of the pier, it shows a two-storey building with the first floor set back behind a balcony that runs down the sidewall. A small orange canopy over a single doorway and sign (‘Sheiks Nightclub’) is visible at ground floor level, next to five larger canopies (not in use) covering more doorways. The façade, seen here from an oblique angle on the right hand side, shows flat-roofed corner towers flanking a central gable and projected room, possibly containing the original entrance.
