Colour photograph showing a sidewall and part of the façade of the Corn Exchange in Cambridge. Taken from across the road looking towards the corner of Corn Exchange Street and Wheeler Street, it shows the left hand outer bay of the façade on the right, with the sidewall stretching down Corn Exchange Street to the left. It is a polychrome Victorian building in three and a half storeys of white brick, with a red and blue brick Venetian arch visible below a small gable and window on the façade. A smaller, replica arch appears on the shorter corner bay, which rises to accommodate a stair tower crowned by a weather vane, set back from the façade. The long sidewall has tall lower windows and an arcade of small tripleted windows above. A poster at street-level advertises a production of ‘Grease’.
