  Black and white postcard showing the façade of The Grand Music Hall, or 'Clapham Grand', at Clapham Junction, within a streetscape of St. John's Hill in Battersea, London. It is a large and symmetrical building, situated just left of centre on the postcard, with a decorated iron canopy over the main entrance and two short turrets on the roof. Alternative entrances and advertising signage can be seen either side of the main entrance. Signage is also visible on the first floor. 'THE GRAND’ appears in tablature above the canopy. Higher up the single word 'GRAND' appears in larger lettering. A further sign reading 'GRAND PALACE OF VARIETIES' is visible at the top of the building in between the two turrets.
