  Black and white photograph showing the dress circle of the Criterion Theatre. The photograph is taken from within the dress circle so as to focus on two supporting columns. The wider column is fluted at the bottom and decorated with bands of repeating floral ornamentation at the top; the thinner column has a single floral band woven around it at an oblique angle. Beyond the columns, the boxes to stage right, the proscenium arch, the house tabs, and the stage can also be seen.
