June Whitfield

We were saddened by the news of the death of June Whitfield in December.

June was perhaps best known to many for her television appearances including in the comedies Terry and June and Absolutely Fabulous, but she had also made many stage appearances throughout her long illustrious career and was an advocate for theatre.

June was one of the Theatres Trust’s founder members, contributing to the initial fundraising efforts to establish the Trust and she continued to support our work as a Life Friend.

Our deepest sympathies go to her family and friends.
