Security grill gate at Carlisle's West Walls Theatre
The Trust raised no objection to a proposal for a grill gate across a fire exit, although we made clear it must be ensured it is kept open when the building is in use. It is required to prevent anti-social behaviour.

New theatre for Burgess Hill
The Trust welcomed proposals for a new theatre in Burgess Hill to replace Martlets Hall which was demolished in 2015. The theatre - to be named the Beehive - is to be built on the site of a former British Legion hall.
